In a business environment defined by uncertainty, volatility and relentless change, Trevor & Associates will convene its first THINKTANK on 26 February 2026 at the Hyatt Regency, Harare. The one-day strategic forum is premised on a simple but urgent truth: Zimbabwean businesses can no longer afford to wait for rescue, reform or relief. Change is already here, and those who fail to act risk being left behind.
THINKTANK 2026 challenges business leaders to move beyond passive hope and into deliberate action. The market is shifting, formal and informal boundaries are blurring, technology is rewriting the rules, and resilience is no longer optional. To sit back and expect circumstances to improve is to surrender one’s agency. This forum is a call for leaders to actively shape their futures by leveraging collective skills, shared capabilities and decisive thinking.
Curated by the Trevor & Associates team, the programme brings together a diverse group of thinkers and practitioners whose expertise speaks directly to the realities facing Zimbabwean enterprises today. Janah Ncube, a pan-African strategist and governance expert, will interrogate organisational culture and its role in operational breakdowns, while Chartered Accountants Academy (CAA) CEO, Anesu Daka, will explore impactful innovation and long- term value creation. Occupational Psychologist and Human Resources consultant, Memory Nguwi will address standards and ethics in an economy where informality increasingly defines the rules of engagement.
South African-based brand strategist and Brand Africa CEO, Thebe Ikalafeng, will reveal the recently released Zimbabwe’s leading brands survey results. Thebe will also unpack the power of reputation in turbulent markets. Harvard-trained technologist Terrence Taylor, will offer practical guidance on artificial intelligence in the Zimbabwean workplace. Property investor and West Prop CEO, Ken Sharpe, will examine how real estate can be unlocked as a driver of economic prosperity.
The conversation then shifts to investment and health systems, with Dr Jimmy Muchechetere, Banker and Medical Doctor with Investec, outlining what investors truly look for, and Dr Itai Matumbike, the Chief Medical Officer of Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in the United Kingdom, shares lessons from the NHS applicable to Zimbabwe’s health delivery systems.
The day concludes with Stan Higgins, a seasoned corporate governance expert, reflecting on values, citizenship and the habits required to sustain national and organisational renewal. THINKTANK 2026 is priced at US$200 per delegate, with limited spaces available.
Registration closes on 24 February. Interested participants can register via https://www.trevorandassociates.com/event-details/think-tank-2026, email olgamuteiwa@trevorandassociates.com, or call +263 77 321 9447.
This is not just another business event. It is a deliberate intervention for leaders who understand that the future will not wait, and that progress belongs to those prepared to make it happen.
